Wichtige Publikationen

Die vorliegende Wissens- und Literatur-Datenbank richtet sich an alle Ärztinnen und Ärzte und medizinische Fachkräfte, die in die Prävention, Diagnostik, Behandlung und Nachsorge der Sepsis eingebunden sind, sowie an Patienten und Selbsthilfegruppen. Sie dient auch zur Information anderer Organisationen des Gesundheitswesens und der interessierten Fachöffentlichkeit.

Für diese Adressaten bietet die Sepsis-Wissens- und Literatur-Datenbank fachübergreifend eine qualifizierte Auswahl unabhängiger und aktueller Informationen. Diese umfassen wichtige und besonders informative Arbeiten zur Prävention, Diagnose, Behandlung und Nachsorge der Sepsis, gleich welchen Erregers. Auf Grund der äußerst engen pathophysiologischen Verknüpfungen der COVID-19-Erkrankung und der Sepsis werden auch diesbezügliche Publikationen unabhängig von einem septischen Verlauf der SARS-CoV-2-Infektion eingeschlossen.

Die vorliegende Liste berücksichtigt Publikationen der vergangenen 15 Jahre, die aus Literaturverzeichnissen von Leitlinien, internationalen Fachgesellschaften und Organisationen, sowie aus systematischen Reviews ausgewählt wurden, ergänzt durch Expertenempfehlungen. Außerdem erfolgt eine engmaschige Aktualisierung durch eine wöchentliche systematische Literatursuche in der Medline-Datenbank der National Library of Medicine mit anschließender Sichtung und Bewertung der Ergebnisse.

Die kontinuierliche Betreuung der Literatur-Datenbank von SepsisWissen erfolgt durch ein Redaktionsteam unter Leitung von Prof. Dr. A. Weyland (Universität Oldenburg), dem desweiteren noch folgende Personen aus der Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin angehören:

Eine systematische Quantifizierung der Evidenz erfolgt nicht. Die Datenbank erhebt nicht den Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit. Im Jahresabstand bitten wir die Mitglieder des wissenschaftliche Beirats der Sepsis-Stiftung, dem auch Betroffene angehören, auf Basis ihrer jeweiligen Expertise die Auswahl der Publikationen zu evaluieren.
